Diu, the other half of the Union Territory of Daman, is a tiny island interspersed with palm and coconut trees, off the west coast near Gujarat. Measuring less than 40 sq. km, this beautiful island in the Arabian Sea has the river Chasi running along its northern frontier. Its neat golden beaches run along merrily providing blissful solitude in blue waters beneath blue skies.
The most prominent place of architectural interest is the magnificent and imposing Fort at Diu, situated at one end of the island. It commands a magnificent view of the sea, and its surrounding areas. Other places of interest are the Fortress of Panikotha, St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum, Jama Masjid, Jallandhar-shrine beach, Gangeshvar Temple, Chakratirth and Sunset Point.
The hotels at Diu present the best view of the exotic Diu with undisturbed peace which amounts to be a unique holiday. Gently rocked by the winds and waves of the Arabian Sea, their modern outlook bears out to be an ideal retreat. Come to have a fiesta under a sensuous blend of sun, sand and deep blue sea and let us do the rest for you.
