St Mary's Church, Cheriapalli – built in 1579 by Thekkumkoor Maharajah, this church showcases extraordinary architecture, an amalgam of Kerala and Portuguese architectural styles. The walls of the Church are designed with beautiful murals on biblical and non biblical themes.

St. George's Church, Puthupalli - believed to have been built by the Thekkumkoor Rajas, the golden cross in this church is quite well known.
St. Thomas Mount – located at an altitude of 1200 feet above sea level, the church offers a picturesque view of the beautiful Vaikom Lake.
St. Mary's Church, Kuravilangad - built in 355 AD in the Kuravilangad town, this church is popular for an old bell which bears an inscription.
St. Mary's Church, Athirampuzha - built in 1080 the main feast of the church celebrated in honor of St Sebastian is a popular event where offerings of gold and silver arrows are made.
St. Mary's Church, Kudamaloor - the 800 year old church was built by Chempakasseri Maharajah and is another example of foreign influence on Indian architecture.
St. Thomas Church, Cherpungal – is known to be established by the apostle St Thomas.
