Another v famous dance of Rajasthan is Ghoomar Dance, primarily a community dance for women. The dance is performed on auspicious occasions. A simple dance it involves the gentle movement of women in circles. During the Holi festival, the Bhil tribes perform Gair Ghoomar. This is among a few performances where both men and women dance together. Gair is another Holi dance but participated only by men folk. This is known as Dandia Gair in Jodhpur and Geendad in Shekhawati. Other prominent dance of the state is Fire Dance.
