Kumasi as a tourist destination has many tourist attractions like the National Cultural Centre, a fascinating museum of Ashanti history, a popular library cum crafts shop cum exhibition hall.
Ghana boasts some of the beautiful sandy beaches and lagoons but unsuitable for swimming. Jogging is popular along the beaches near Accra. The sport fishing for barracuda is popular. The Volta River estuary, Sailing and Water-skiing on Lake Volta are other leisure activities. The water surfing is at its best at Fete and Dixcove, both the places being in the west of Accra. Kakum Nature Park, Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, Bia National Park, Bui National Park and Mole Game Reserve offer you a ground for hiking, wildlife watching and exploring the savannahs and rainforests.
